Goal Teams
COM GOAL TEAM leaders were appointed by the Dean and each leader selected members for his/her team. During summer of 2012, COM GOAL TEAMS met, created their goal and identified strategies and some tactics. Goal Team leaders used feedback from Town Hall meetings to clarify and revise goals, strategies and tactics. This process continues, in fact new goal teams are being established to integrate, refine, prioritize and sequence COM and UAHN strategies and tactics, and will recommend metrics to measure success as we implement our unified COM/UAHN strategic plan.

Deliver education that is innovative, humanistic and sets standards of excellence
Perform research to improve lives and set national standards of excellence and innovation
Become the preferred destination for high quality, cost effective, patient centered health care and wellness
Promote excellence in patient care, research and education so that we can grow and expand strategically
Transform the delivery of healthcare by promoting health and wellness in our internal and external communities

May 15 Draft COM/UAHN strategic plan submitted to President Hart
May 17 Goal Teams re-formed
May 24 Goal Teams prepare recommendations

June 30 Goal Teams submit recommendations to Dean and UAHN CEO
June President discusses UA Strategic Plan with Regents
